The AIDA Safety Freediver Course is for freedivers who want to be familiar with safety rules and procedures during AIDA competitions. This course develops your knowledge and skills so you are able to act as a safety freediver during AIDA competitions. This course is also useful to freedivers competing in a competition so they know what to expect from the freedive safety team. This course also builds confidence in dealing with rescue scenarios.

Duration	1 day
Requirements	Be 18 years of age or older (16 years with parent or guardian consent), hold a valid medical statement and be an AIDA** Freediver or equivalent
Schedule	Theory Session, pool session, Open Water session and exam
